Skyview Realty’s Newest Agent Welcomes Her Son Real Estate can be the Answer to
Mother’s Looking for Satisfying and Flexible Work
Colchester, CT- Kara Franklin, Skyview Realty’s newest agent, recently welcomed her son into her family. Joseph Alexander Franklin was born 6 lbs and 12 ounces at the Hartford Hospital.
Kara joined Skyview Realty in July. She chose the agency because of its reputation, owner Jack Faski’s availability to his agents, and because she is able to create her own schedule. When she decided to have a child she, like many other new mothers, needed to find a satisfying and flexible job. According to a U.S. Census bureau press release, the last census reported that 55% of mothers with infant children work. The same study reported that 51% of women with children return to work after only four months of giving birth.
“I needed to find a job that allows me to spend time with my family,’ said Kara. “But I also needed to find one that fit into my values.”
A full time Human Resources professional with a degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Kara has years of experience helping people.
“I decided to become an agent because I love seeing and showing houses,” said Kara. “And I’m a real people person.”
Raised in Griswold, Connecticut, Kara is planning on focusing most of her efforts helping clients to purchase homes in the Southeast corner of the state. She is interested in helping first time home buyers and has experience with people that “flip” homes.
“I interviewed Skyview Realty and found the company to be very supportive of all its agents,” said Kara. “It turned out to be a great fit with my skills and needs.”
Kara went on to say that she understands the potential stress home owners can go through when purchasing a home, and that her job is to advise them as well as give them a solid buying experience.
“I really care about making my clients happy,” said Kara. “I’m there to help out should any issues arise. And I really like helping out!”
Kara Franklin and her husband Kevin live in Colchester. She is looking forward to selling more houses and is adjusting to having a son. |
